Job Purpose

To lead the development and execution of process safety improvement plans for all manufacturing facilities within the region (circa 20 facilities) to ensure compliance with both national regulations and company standards.

Education

Bachelor's Degree in Science or Engineering

Experience

20+ Years in Manufacturing and EHS roles with 10+ year in leadership positions.

Responsibilities

  • Leads the development and drives the implementation of process safety compliance/improvement plans for all manufacturing sites within the region in coordination with Site Managers and the Regional EHS Team.
  • Establishes regional work priorities and resourcing strategies, in conjunction with the Regional EHS Director and Site Managers.
  • Develops and maintains a Process Safety "Plan on a Page" for each site in the region to ensure visibility and transparency of compliance and improvement, in conjunction with the Regional EHS Director.
  • Work with the site and regional teams to address any deviance to the agreed plan.
  • Leads select networks to promote best practices and develop key Process Safety skills and competencies at the site level.
  • Serve as a member of the regional EHS Leadership Team and foster an environment of open communication and collaborative problem solving.
  • Provides oversight of Process Safety relatedregulations and provide compliance guidance and support for the region.
  • As a member of the Process Safety Shared Services team, support the development of company standards and policies.
  • Lead and participate in incident investigations and audits as required.
