Part-Time Non-Certified Tutor (Math)

Duties:

• (Primary) Tutor students in Math.
• (Secondary) Back-Up for Office Assistants - Greet students, log students in and out, check in and out resources, light cleaning, test administration, answer phones, be able to lift 50 pounds.

Skills/Qualifications:

• Must have completed through Calculus I.
• Ability to tutor a science subject as well is preferred.
• Must have an overall GPA of 3.0 and a 3.5 in the subject area to be considered for employment. A "B" average in the subject(s) you wish to tutor is required.
• Must have 2 recommendation letters from math or science instructors. The instructors can e-mail the recommendation letters to Dawn Shedd at dawn.shedd@sjcd.edu.
