JOB SUMMARY

This position will serve as a Systems Analyst for the Oracle Enterprise Business Suite, P2 Enterprise Upstream applications and P2 AFE application. This role provide functional and technical expertise, guidance and support for the business users and project-related activities.


ESSENTIAL DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES

  • Provide support to the business users in their daily activities as needed
  • Assist with the planning and scheduling to implement patches, upgrades and new products to supplement and/or improvements to the current systems
  • Test patches, new releases and Coterra-specific code to ensure that these meet the business requirements and provides continuous and quality business activity
  • Liaise with the business to assess process requirements and evaluate possible alternatives and recommend and implement solutions
  • Create and maintain standards, procedures, and documentation related to area of responsibility
  • Participate in computer audits and perform testing for disaster recovery process, ensuring a secure processing environment that protects the integrity and availability of information
  • Assist with the development of methods and processes for integrating different products so they work properly together in support of business processes
  • Assist with all aspects of security design, performance tuning, system / interface monitoring, backup and recovery
  • Participate in user communities and industry organizations to continue awareness of industry best practices along with the ability to suggest innovation where possible
  • Maintain relationships with software suppliers and other third parties as required to provide timely and cost-effective customer support
  • Work with developers, system and network administrators to support and improve system performance and stability
  • Perform quality assurance & design review functions for all projects where the technology will be utilized
  • Assist with activities related to acquisitions and divestitures, including but not limited to data extractions, data mapping, conversions, interfaces, custom objects and reporting
  • Exhibit strong skills with Oracle SQL and PL/SQL Development
  • Establishes and sustains close working relationships with business customers in delivery of IT services and support
  • Effectively communicates with all levels of the organization to ensure project success and user needs are identified and met
  • Work collaboratively with other members of the IS team to provide quality support for the portfolio of business applications.
  • Take ownership of support issues, utilizing other internal/external expertise as required
  • Keeps management and stakeholders informed of project progress, open tasks and escalated issues on a regular basis
Job requirements

SKILLS AND EXPERIENCE

  • Bachelor's Degree
  • Industry and product experience (Oil and Gas, Oracle, and P2 Product experience)
  • Extensive experience Oracle Enterprise Business Suite (General Ledger, Fixed Assets, Inventory, Receivables, Payables, EBS Release 12.2.5)
  • Deep knowledge of P2 Energy Solutions Enterprise Upstream (Revenue, Joint Venture Accounting, LOS, AFE)
  • Extensive experience with P2 product interoperability (P2 Land, P2 ProCount, P2 AFE)
  • Overall product/module integration experience
  • Experience in P2 and Oracle system implementations & upgrades
  • Experience in Oracle Business Intelligence and Oracle Reports solutions
  • Organization, analytical, and problem-solving skills
  • Able to work in a team-oriented environment
  • Effectively manage time constraints and deadlines


EDUCATION REQUIREMENTS

4 year/ Bachelors Degree - 4-year degree in Management Information Systems, Computer Information Systems, Computer Science or related field highly preferred; Combination of education and experience may be considered in lieu of degree

7+ Years of experience required


WORKING CONDITIONS AND PHYSICAL DEMANDS

Work is typically performed indoors in an office environment. Incumbents must be able to perform work which includes typing, sitting and standing. In the event that incumbent visits operations worksite, personal protection equipment, including head protection, hearing protection, safety glasses, safety shoes, and flame resistant clothing is required. Safety rules including OSHA and DOT requirements are strictly enforced. Employees must be willing to travel and work extended hours on short notice.


TRAVEL REQUIREMENTS

Less than 5% - Travel may be required for mandatory for training or meetings
