How will you CONTRIBUTE and GROW?

The position requires flexibility and the ability to manage complex property tax scenarios for multi-divisions in multiple states. The qualified candidate shall create and improve the work process and train staff for excellent deliverables in a demanding environment for value creation realization to the businesses.
  • Manages and monitors all aspects of the annual property tax cycle.
  • Exhibits an understanding of the levels of authority, legal precedents, rulings, and regulations.
  • Works effectively with associates and superiors in analyzing business property tax.
  • Property Tax valuation background
  • The ability to understand the plant's machinery and equipment and its applications
  • Performs complete and efficient reviews of the property tax returns while providing guidance and supervision to staff.
  • Demonstrates the ability to gather data from businesses and third-party sources effectively.
  • Attends hearings, settlement conferences, and negotiations through settlement
  • Understand and know how to apply property exemption options and the required compliances
  • File corrections, as needed per the administrative process
  • Ability to travel 10%, on average, based on the work you do
  • Serves as the primary contact overseeing business activities and responds to business inquiries and requests from assessing jurisdictions

  • Demonstrated leadership, problem-solving, and strong verbal and written communication skills
  • Demonstrate the ability to perform this job successfully. An individual must have intermediate knowledge of Microsoft Word, Access, Excel, PowerPoint, PowerBI, PTMS, ORACLE, and other third-party tax industry software to navigate and research
  • Bachelor's Degree in Finance, Economics, or Accounting
  • 6+ Years of progress experience in a large industrial manufacturing organization
  • Prior property tax experience is required
  • Candidates with applicable designated valuation background preferred
