Mission - Responsible for standard product maintenance through continuous improvement on quality, cost and standardization of Quality Air products. Responsible for documenting and developing the flow for the entire production system process which includes inbound logistics, defining manpower needs and maintaining labor costs so that maximum utilization can be achieved on the assembly lines. In addition, improve the efficiency of existing production lines and adapt to actual capacity requirements for each work station by observing the production.

Roles and Responsibilities -

Work closely with Sourcing, Production, Quality, Marketing, Aftermarket department and other internal Atlas Copco teams in order to deliver the PCM projects on time and as per the Master Specification.

Ensure efficient execution of project team meetings by conducting routine design reviews to ensure design accuracy and competency.

Work closely with Project Engineering in the creation work instructions and documents in compliance with Atlas Copco product design for standard Quality Air Products & Low pressure blowers and air compressor products.

Ensure that Bill of Materials and specifications comply with Atlas Copco's production process and meets quality control standards.

Develop and improve processes, quality and procedures in manufacturing and other support functions to reduce costs, and improve overall productivity by using lean manufacturing processes such as JIT, Kanban.

Measure and optimize assembly time, analyze the stages of processing and/or assembling within the various production departments so that balance is created.

Work with the Operations Manager to establish appropriate growth target for the facility's products. Monitor performance and variance to budget and take action as appropriate to achieve plan.

Serve as an interface between engineering, purchasing, quality and production team to keep production moving and reduce production downtime.

Identify and implement digitalization in production activities to improve operational efficiency by using IT technology & infrastructure.

Design layouts for production lines.

Adapt and improve the tools used for the production lines.

Define and verify compliance with assembly work phases to obtain the required production and the best efficiency for the lines.

Deliver work instructions to production lines, including the various cycles of assembly and specifications.

Document process inconsistencies or risk situations so that corrective actions can be implemented.

Monitor the introduction of new machinery in manufacturing or logistics and ensure its successful integration in to the production process.

In conjunction with OSHA law and/or requirements, apply the SafeStart safety training process when performing all work in order to reinforce practical safety training techniques, maintain awareness and prevent injury.

Follow the Atlas Copco "Safety First" policy with the vision of zero work related accidents. Take all necessary actions to employ sustainable processes to safeguard the company's targets for Quality/Environment/Safety, Health and Energy/Resource Efficiency.

Perform other duties as assigned.

Qualifications -

Experience - Two to five years of relevant experience.

Knowledge - Understanding of JIT or Kanban, other manufacturing process may be considered. Understanding of logistics and design layout within a manufacturing environment, ability to demonstrate the assembly process and/or provide additional assistance on the lines. Understanding of electrical design, drawings and Eletronikon programming.

Education - Bachelor's degree in Mechanical or Industrial Engineering.

Skills - Must have excellent organizational, interpersonal, verbal and written communication, analytical, problem-solving and engineering design skills. Must be proficient in Microsoft Office, including Word and Excel.
