Acara Solutions has an opening for a Trainer for Alstom Transportation in Newark, NJ.

PURPOSE OF POSITION
Ensuring that the organization is equipped with a workforce that can continue to operate and maintain the AirTrain. The Trainer is responsible for developing the skills of the employees.
MAIN TASKS
  • Teaching a variety of technical, safety and administrative training classes through classroom lecture, practical demonstration, and individual lessons.
  • Prepare lesson plans for each training class.
  • Prepare learning material for classes by reviewing content to ensure information is current.
  • Update material as required.
  • Prepare and conduct New Hire Introductory Training.
  • Develop new skills in employees by utilizing shift blueprints and employee development plans.
  • Research new teaching methods. Attend education conferences.
Job Requirements
Required Skills / Qualifications:
  • Exceptional Verbal and Written communication skills.
  • Excellent Time Management and Organizational abilities.
  • Extraordinary Public Speaking and Presentation Skills.
  • Expert in MS Office and E-Learning software.
  • Flexibility is a MUST.

Preferred Skills:
  • Technical experience preferred
