PURPOSE:
The Blending Team Member position is responsible for preparing blends according to formulations and procedures developed by the lab.
KEY OBJECTIVES AND RESPONSIBILITIES:
- Ensure efficient execution of the Blend or Bulk fluids schedule
- Prepare blends according to formulations and procedures developed by the lab
- Responsible for the accuracy of all base oil and additive inventory
- Inventory count and reconciliation
- Coordinate with maintenance to ensure adequate time is allotted for scheduled maintenance and/or repairs
- Organize warehouse for cleanliness and safety at all times
- Maintain all safety standards, including wearing PPE as required
- Initiate corrective and preventative actions as needed
- Supports the strategic and operational direction of the business
- Additional duties as assigned
REQUIRED EDUCATION/EXPERIENCES:
- High School Diploma or GED
- Minimum of six months experience in a blending/packaging role
- Basic computer literacy
- Basic math skills
- Must be able to work any shift
- Must be able to pass pre-employment assessment
- Must be able to perform the essential functions of the job including physical lifting of up to 50 lbs.
PREFERRED EDUCATION/EXPERIENCES:
- SAP experience
