The RoleAspenTech is a leading supplier of software that optimizes process manufacturing - including oil and gas, petroleum, chemicals, pharmaceuticals, and other industries that manufacture and produce products from a chemical process. With integrated aspenONE solutions, process manufacturers can implement best practices for optimizing their engineering, manufacturing, and supply chain operations. As a result, AspenTech customers are better able to increase capacity, improve margins, reduce costs, and become more energy efficient.We are seeking a Solution Enablement Director within our organization based out of Europe or the U.S. office. Major responsibility is to work together with our senior directors and consultants providing plans and approving combined solutions with dynamic optimization and Advanced Process Control.
This is a unique position for an exceptional Engineer to develop into a dynamic optimization professional and support the organization internally and at the same time work closely with our customers and partners using our suite of modelling and optimization technologies.Your Impact
- Primarily working with our Aspen Generic Dynamic Optimization Technology (GDOT) solutions.
- Solution credibility to gather data/document and summary Client requirements and address the business process issues that AspenTech solutions will address.
- Assist the sales organization and Services management team in preparing and delivering complex bids and proposals to major corporate clients.
- Support design and configure model-based systems and data integration with external systems and databases.
- Support project teams including our partners to ensure projects achieve stated milestones, delivery dates and financial goals.
- Maintain and extend client satisfaction levels and develop opportunities for additional optimisation solutions.
- Work cooperatively with the AspenTech extended team in Sales, Support, R+D and Partners to ensure successful project delivery and completion.
- Minimum Bachelor's degree in Chemical Engineering and experience preferred within oil refinery operations.
- Background with Advanced Process Control (APC) will be an advantage for this role.
- Fast learner with a desire/motivation to learn cutting-edge new technologies.
- A team player with the ability to relate to customers and maintain good working relationships.
- Good spoken and written skills in English language.
- Other languages a definite asset but not a requirement.
