This role is within Chamberlain Group's Sales function. A successful incumbent is expected to (i) Provide prospects and small customers product information while gathering customer specific qualification data through site visits, and (ii) Identify new dealer opportunities using individual initiative, tradeshows, company assigned lists and field based qualification activities to achieve sales goals. This role lays the groundwork for a successful sales track, learning to act as a business leader for the assigned geographic area and business focus, with an understanding of SWOT analysis of a territory and practical knowledge of the products and service offerings of Chamberlain Group. Requires 1+ years of sales experience of relevant work experience and a minimum of a Bachelor's Degree.

Job Responsibilities:

  • Provide prospects and small customers product information while gathering customer specific qualification data through site visits

  • Identify new dealer opportunities using individual initiative, tradeshows, company assigned lists and field based qualification activities to achieve sales goals

  • Generate sales placement of evaluation units, specifically around new market penetration or new product adoption

  • Plan and visit assigned and unassigned areas as consistent with achieving sales goals per regular connection

  • Produce monthly written report covering highlights, key wins and sales calls/presentation completed

  • Identify opportunities for sales expansion and growth opportunities through face to face business evaluation

  • Develop strong product and process knowledge across all Business Units

  • Maintain detailed customer information in CRM platform

  • Comply with health and safety guidelines and rules; managers should also ensure compliance across their teams.

  • Protect Chamberlain Group's reputation by keeping information confidential.

  • Maintain professional and technical knowledge by attending educational workshops, reading professional publications, establishing personal networks, and participating in professional societies.

  • Contribute to the team effort by accomplishing related results and participating on projects as needed.

Job Requirements:

  • Bachelor's Degree

  • 1+ years of sales experience

  • Strong public speaking skills

  • Able to travel up to 75% - domestically and internationally; valid driver's license%

  • Proficient in sales systems; mechanical aptitude
