Job Description
  • Summary

    The Commercial Lines Producer is expected to work independently to provide Commercial Insurance solutions to clients. Provides creative solutions and is viewed as a valued resource to clients.
  • Essential Duties and Responsibilities:

    • Proactively identifies client's needs and establishes key relationships by identifying and closing sell opportunities.
    • Maintains adequate knowledge of rating procedures, coverage, and the industry to effectively manage, maintain and develop client relationships.
    • Meet the established production requirements

    • Respond to clients inquiries in a timely manner.
    • Provide creative solutions and establish key relationships
    • Manage the relationship and transitions maintenance to appropriate customer service rep.
    • Completes the application forms and assists CSR in obtaining loss runs and other documents needed for quoting purposes. May at times be called on to submit the applications and other documents to the carriers
    • Maintains adequate knowledge of coverage and the industry to develop client relationships.
    • Timely follow up with clients regarding insurance inquiries
    • Reports on a weekly basis prospecting activity and sales results
    • Responsible for creating pipeline for commercial business in order to meet production goals
    • Consistently contact current customers and converting them into multi-line clients
  • Minimum Qualifications:

    Education

    • Specialized training, two year degree, technical or vocational certification or an equivalent mix of education and experience is required. Valid Texas Insurance license.

      Experience

    • Requires Commercial lines experience and insurance licenses.
    • This position requires up to two years of industry experience in sales and delivery
    • AMS360 experience a PLUS

    Specific vision abilities required by this position include close vision, distance vision, and the ability to adjust focus. The noise level in the work environment is usually moderate.

    Some local travel to various offices could be needed.
