Responsibilities

As the Senior Manager of Gas Scheduling at Enlink Midstream, you will play a pivotal role in optimizing our gas scheduling operations while leading a dynamic team. Your expertise will contribute to the efficient movement of gas resources and the continued success of our company. The Senior Manager of Gas Scheduling is responsible for various day-to-day Distribution and Scheduling tasks associated with EnLink Midstream natural gas assets primarily tracked and invoiced out of industry standard ETRM system. In addition, the role will be responsible for leading a team to ensure full compliance activity and all requirements to efficiently operate the systems according to EnLink protocol.

  • Lead and manage the gas scheduling teams, providing guidance and fostering a collaborative environment. This includes both Pipeline asset Scheduling (Intra & Inter-state pipes).
  • Develop and implement gas scheduling strategies to ensure timely and reliable movement of gas resources, optimizing asset utilization.
  • Collaborate with cross-functional teams to align gas scheduling activities with supply, demand, and transportation logistics.
  • Monitor and analyze market trends, regulatory changes, and industry developments to inform scheduling decisions and strategic planning.
  • Oversee the development and maintenance of scheduling models, tools, and systems to enhance accuracy and efficiency.
  • Manage relationships with suppliers, customers, and partners to ensure effective communication and coordination of scheduling activities.
  • Proactively identify opportunities to improve scheduling processes, reduce operational risks, and enhance overall performance.
  • Assume a central role in orchestrating the month-end closing process, guaranteeing a seamless and precise handoff to accounting colleagues.
  • Track and manage gas positions in proprietary computer systems that demands the understanding of reporting queries and automated statements.
  • Understanding operational balances, cash out ramifications and how these obligations are created and tracked within transactional systems.
  • Assets/Contracts involved: Intrastate/FERC pipelines, Gas storage (Cavern/reservoir), Park/Loan, Wheeling, etc.

Qualifications

  • Graduate of Four-year college program with business background.
  • 10+ years related experience must be in the logistics and/or operational aspects of the midstream gas assets.
  • People management experience required.
  • Experience in commercial/economic evaluation would be a plus.
  • Strong understanding and experience with physical pipeline systems and required compliance activities.
  • Familiar with a variety of operational/field concepts, practices, and procedures preferred.
  • Proven track record of developing and maintaining relationships within the industry.
  • Performs a variety of tasks. Will collaborate with other team members throughout the organization. A wide degree of creativity and latitude is expected.
  • Experience with industry software systems - TIES preferred.
