Job Description

Amegy Bank is looking for an experienced Marketing Services Representative to join our marketing team in Houston. This individual will support Amegy's business/product lines with day-to-day marketing support and will be responsible for campaign strategy to include ideation, execution, and outcomes.

The ideal candidate should be creative and possess excellent communication and analytical skills and will need to be highly efficient in offering support to Amegy's Marketing department.

  • Engages with advertising agency, product partners, marketing and communications team members and business lines to plan and implement integrated marketing programs which support business objectives for various business lines, such as retail banking; private banking; commercial banking; or wealth management and product support.
  • Leads strategic thinking, planning, and budgeting for assigned marketing programs/campaigns to ensure programs are implemented based on marketing program guidelines and standards.
  • Tracks and monitors programs/campaigns throughout to optimize results.
  • Creates and reports results of programs/campaigns to team members, stakeholders, and leadership.
  • Seeks-out marketing opportunities through market research and data analysis, anticipates upcoming needs and makes appropriate recommendations for course of action with projects/programs/campaigns.
  • Leads meetings to help solve problems, brainstorm, get answers, build consensus, and makes recommendations to key stakeholders and lines of business.
  • Seeks out new ways for process improvement, better utilization of resources and budget efficiencies.
  • Works as a liaison between Amegy and enterprise business.
  • Other duties as assigned.

Qualifications:

Typically requires a Bachelors and 7+ years of related experience.

  • Good attention to detail and accuracy.
  • Good organizational, time management and project management skills
  • Broad application of principles, theories, and concepts in applicable discipline, plus extensive knowledge of marketing principles
  • Proficient in the use of Microsoft Office Products: Word, Excel, and related programs/systems.
  • Product marketing experience
  • Banking/Financial services industry experience a plus
  • Agency experience a plus.
