Position Title: Account Manager

Location: Philadelphia, PA

Key Responsibilities:

• Manage sales through Distribution channel (relationship management, conducting business reviews, forecasting and tracking sales volume and prices, supply reliability, ensuring timely payments)
• Primary interface for new opportunities and requests from Distributors for volume-price support (opportunity assessment, competitive intelligence, response to RFQs)
• Resolving customer issues by acting as primary interface between the customer and internal resources (logistics, customer service, technical and finance)
• Providing market intelligence to the business (industry trends, competitive behavior, new applications)
• Other duties as assigned

Activities:

• Bachelor's degree from an accredited four-year college or university
• External sales experience in the chemical or industrial mineral industries (3 yrs minimum)
• Strong interpersonal and communication skills (verbal and written)
• Proficient in use of Microsoft Office suite and experience in working with ERP systems (e.g. SAP, Oracle)
• Travel as needed to achieve account objectives (< 50%)
