Basic Function

The Specialist, HR Operational Excellence is responsible for delivering the successful design anddevelopment of the global HR processes, policies, compliance and governance. This position willpartner with HR Business Partners and Centers of Excellence to gather and analyze information, defineand document business processes, and propose improvements needed to enable efficient operations.Additionally this role will maintain the HR knowledge management platform and provide consistentapplication of standards, preferred practices and guidelines to support the People and Culture strategy.

Roles & Responsibilities
  • Develop and apply consistent standards, preferred practices and guidelines to support thePeople and Culture strategy
  • Proactively engage and advise various stakeholders to gather and analyze information aboutcritical HR business processes
  • Facilitate operational and process analysis, process design or reengineering, and continuousimprovement, to deliver operational excellence
  • Deliver formally documented HR Operational Excellence process requirements, policies, andpreferred practices
  • Review, organize and manage process documents
  • Maintain the knowledge management platform and post information intuitively
  • Conduct audits and assessments to ensure consistent application of the HR processes anddetermine the effectiveness of the process in place.
  • Coordinate and integrate data analyses for opportunities and performance review
  • Develop and implement compliance processes
  • Work closely with Global Process Owners to develop the business case or value proposition tosupport improvement opportunities
  • Identify, document, and analyze business rules, regulations, guidance and policies that governthe implementation of business processes; ensure that proposed processes do not conflict withother processes across the function or organization
  • Support HR initiatives at the global level to meet established targets through continuousevaluation, quality assurance and focused improvement efforts
  • Provide ongoing coaching and development to process owners and HR staff in consistentapplication of HR Operational Excellence

Area of Expertise

  • Knowledge of Operational Excellence, business processes, and regulatory requirementsapplicable to human resources
  • Ability to create and apply templates using various software tools including Microsoft Word,Excel, PowerPoint, SharePoint/Teams, and Visio
  • Established ability to professionally communicate, both written and verbally, with all levels of the organization in a global environment
  • Change management experience preferred
  • Ability to work independently with minimal supervision as well as function at a high level as amember of diverse project teams
  • Ability to facilitate process discussions, advise stakeholders, and consult for consensus onprocess improvements
  • Experience documenting processes and organizing information in a way that facilitates intuitiveretrieval
  • Ability to apply strong planning and problem-solving skills to manage multiple work streams
Min. Qualifications
  • Bachelor's degree or equivalent knowledge and experience required
  • 10+ years of relevant experience and evidence of implementing process improvements in an
  • organization with similar operational scale and geographic footprint
  • Ability to lead technical discussions, challenge assumptions and gain consensus across diverse
  • teams
  • Advanced skills in applications such as MS-Office, Visio and SharePoint/Teams
  • Participation in the configuration, design and testing of SAP/SF application experience preferred
