Job Description

Are you ready to join a team committed to excellence? Staffmark, in partnership with one of the leading piping distribution companies, is seeking a dedicated Grounds Maintenance Worker. Renowned for delivering top-tier service, our client values cleanliness and safety above all else.


Working hours are Monday through Friday, 7:00 am to 5:00 pm, with a competitive pay rate of $15/hour.

As a Grounds Maintenance Worker, your responsibilities will include maintaining the cleanliness of facility roadways to ensure they are free of debris. You will also be responsible for performing daily upkeep of property buildings and grounds, including the removal of trash. Safety is paramount, so you'll need to adhere to all necessary safety protocols. Additionally, you'll have the opportunity to cross-train on alternate assignments and assist in other work areas as required. As part of your duties, you'll be expected to perform grass mowing and use a weed eater as needed to maintain the property's appearance.

QUALIFICATIONS:
  • Ability to reliably fulfill designated work schedule, including overtime
  • Stable work history, preferably in an industrial environment
  • Commitment to working safely at all times, adhering to operational policies and procedures
  • Positive attitude and team player mentality
  • Ability to work independently with minimal supervision
  • Capable of lifting and stacking objects weighing 15 to 20 lbs.
  • Comfortable with extended periods of standing, walking, kneeling, and reaching, and occasional ladder and staircase climbing
  • Willingness to work in extreme weather conditions, including heat, cold, and rain
