The Opportunity:

The
Client Partner, Corporate (Essential Accounts) is a strategic role focused on owning and expanding the relationships with large and mid-size accounts to drive business growth through upselling and cross-selling. As the Account Owner, the Client Partner will oversee the account transition from the new business team, manage onboarding, and work continuously to understand and fulfill the evolving needs of the clients. The goal is to expand and renew business, ensuring high customer satisfaction and loyalty.

The day to day:

  • Collaborate with the new business team to ensure a smooth handoff of new accounts, establishing a foundation for a strong ongoing relationship.

  • Oversee the initial onboarding process for new clients, ensuring they are fully integrated and understand how to utilize our products and services effectively.

  • Develop and maintain deep relationships with assigned accounts, positioning yourself as a trusted advisor and the primary point of contact for any business or support needs.

  • Regularly communicate Shutterstock's value propositions to assigned accounts, highlighting opportunities for expansion and further collaboration.

  • Monitor product adoption rates and usage patterns, implementing strategies to increase engagement where necessary.

  • Develop strategic account plans and execute against them to drive product adoption, customer satisfaction, and account growth.

  • Continuously assess customers' evolving business needs and recommend solutions to facilitate account expansion, including identifying and executing upsell and cross-sell opportunities.

  • Proactively manage and nurture a pipeline of new leads within existing accounts, meticulously tracking progress and interactions within the CRM and other sales tools.

  • Oversee the renewal process for assigned accounts, ensuring a high retention rate by demonstrating ongoing value.

  • Address any customer inquiries, issues, or escalations promptly, ensuring a high level of customer service and satisfaction.

  • Perform ad hoc administrative functions as necessary, such as processing invoices and handling account documentation.

What you'll bring to the role:

  • Proven ability to build and maintain strong client relationships with a focus on driving growth within large and mid-size accounts.

  • Strategic thinker with the ability to create and execute account plans that result in revenue expansion.

  • Strong communication skills, with a consultative approach and the ability to persuade and influence decision-makers.

  • Detail-oriented with strong organizational and project management skills to balance multiple accounts and priorities.

  • Demonstrated proficiency in using CRM systems to manage client relationships and sales pipelines effectively.

  • Bachelor's degree in Business, Marketing, Sales, or a related field.

  • A minimum of 5 years of experience in account management or a client-facing role, with a track record of successfully managing and growing large and mid-size accounts.

  • Experience in identifying and closing upsell and cross-sell opportunities within a diverse product portfolio.

  • Proven success in executing renewals and maintaining high levels of client retention.

  • Strong analytical skills to identify trends and client needs with experience in creating tailored solutions.

  • Proficiency in CRM and sales enablement tools is required, with Salesforce experience being highly desirable.

  • Prior experience working collaboratively with cross-functional teams, including sales, customer success, and product development.

  • Knowledge of the digital content and media industry is highly desirable.

The pay range for this position is below:

* 130,000 - 160,000 per year in New York

Note: Commission-eligible roles are expressed as on-target earnings (base and commission). Non-commission roles are expressed as base salary only but are also eligible for annual incentives.
