Responsibilities:
- Work closely with various groups across Global Markets providing automation tooling, management reporting, and other horizontal solutions
- Ability to automate processes, find efficiencies and build tools are essential to strive in this fast paced, changing environment
- Build applications, tools, reports, and associated unit tests in Python
- Investigate code performance, hardware utilization, and job management to maximize resource efficiency
- Participate in team development processes & ceremonies
Requirements:
- Understanding/Knowledge of large-scale application infrastructure technologies including databases, middleware, batch schedulers, grids, etc.
- Code optimization in Python
- Experience with ELK stack and programmatic interaction with Elastic
- Ability to analyze and solve technical problems quickly and effectively
- Understanding of software development lifecycle
- Familiarity with Agile methodologies and CI tooling
- Self-motivated, enthusiastic and must be a team player
- Ability to work independently and manage concurrent tasks
- Strong communication skills, with a global team - both written and oral
- Ability to automate processes, find efficiencies and build tools are essential to strive in this fast paced, changing environment
- Understanding of Object Orientated programming languages
- Python proficiency
- Background in code optimization and/or hardware optimization
Desired Skills:
- Web programming experience in JavaScript, React library, and related technologies
