Job Description

The Document Controller's overall purpose is to manage and maintain all Company publications and related updates in compliance with internal processes and regulatory requirements. This purpose includes the reviewing and implementing all Company document change requests within the established document workflows, maintaining a complete and current library for use by Company personnel, both on eMan and on the applicable EFB platform, and ensuring complete and timely distribution of all publications, electronic or hard copy.

PRINCIPAL RESPONSIBILITIES:

  • Maintaining all Company documentation within the established procedural framework for the entire lifecycle (inception to archival) of the documents;
  • Maintaining all Company documentation workflows in the relevant systems;
  • Maintaining a routine schedule of Company document reviews and revisions;
  • Maintaining a complete and accurate listing of the publication status for all Company documents, by region;
  • Working with Regional Operations Managers to ensure EFB documents area distributed and maintained accurately;
  • Recommending enhancements and efficiencies for global document control procedures;
  • Recommending to the Document Control Supervisor any new hardware and/or software that may benefit the Document Control environment;
  • Providing Technical Support to eMan end users and assisting with the resolution of any errors; and,
  • Working with the Document Control Supervisor to establish and migrate to a global platform for document control utilization.

EXPERIENCE:

  • Previous Document Control experience preferred;
  • Previous knowledge of document control processes and procedures preferred;
  • High proficiency in the Microsoft Office Suite, especially Microsoft Word and Excel;
  • High proficiency in Adobe Acrobat software;
  • Must meet all requirements in order to travel internationally.

  • Ability to keep a level head when working under pressure
