Responsibilities

Linda Villarreal & Associates, State Farm's staff counsel office in downtown Houston is seeking Administrative Support team members. We are looking for someone who is detail-oriented, can multi-task, has great customer service skills and can work in a fast paced, team-oriented environment. This candidate should have excellent organizational skills, along with accurate typing skills and familiarity of the legal process. Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite is a must. Responsibilities will include, but are not limited to, working with clients and customers, answering phones, familiarity with the court's websites, handling emails and efaxes, confirming appointments, ordering records, and other administrative duties. Bilingual employees are a plus. Hours for this position are Monday-Friday, 8:00 a.m. - 4:30 p.m. or 8:30 a.m. - 5:00 p.m. You will be working in a hybrid environment with some required presence in the office and some remote. Work arrangements could change over time based on business needs.



Qualifications

  • Preferred experience in a legal environment, knowledge of the legal process, and legal/medical terminology
  • Ability to multi-task in a fast-paced environment
  • Strong customer service skills over the phone and in person
  • Accurate and efficient in an electronic environment, including experience in Microsoft Office and Adobe
